In the wake of the death of George Floyd and as our nation continues to protest for racial justice from coast to coast, Revs. Gary Shaw and Ashley Murphy have issued special statements on the role of the Christian community in the fight for equality.

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”  Joshua 1:9

Due to the ongoing spread of COVID-19, all Carter Memorial United Methodist Church worship services, classes, small groups, and other programming have been suspended until further notice. This includes our Bread of Life meal and all programming at our Carter Spiritual Life Center location.

During these difficult times, our faith and our community are more important than ever. Weekly worship, daily clergy reflections, and ZOOM gatherings can be found on our online worship page.
