“Lent is about becoming, doing, and changing whatever it is that is blocking the fullness of life in us right now.” – Sister Joan Chittister

Carter Memorial UMC offers a variety of opportunities to engage your faith throughout the Lenten season.

Pick up a daily devotional and at home “Lenten Celebration Kit” in the church narthex. These resources allow people of all ages to explore spiritual practices and hear personal stories that help bring Scripture to life.

In addition to regular Sunday morning classes and worship services, Holy Week at Carter (April 5 – 12) is full of opportunities for spiritual growth and community fellowship.
